Guided tour

> Unaccompanied tour
The lower sections of the monument are open for unaccompanied tours, including the parade ground lined with vaulted porticoes and a central well. Around the edges are three stables, the main building, the chapel, and the North/East artillery tower. Beyond the East recess that protects the keep, visitors can discover the facilities vital to the life of a garrison: infirmary, valve chamber, bakery, dairy, cowshed. The top of the East recess terrace provides a remarkable view point of the parade ground.

Visitors can access the keep via the terraces and galleries daily with guided tours only.
